Amanda Leo is a New York City based makeup artist. As a child, they always loved dressing up for halloween and, as they got older, their costumes began to revolve more and more around makeup, until eventually their love for the art bled into the rest of the year. Makeup allowed them to transport themself away from reality and express their emotions through beauty and fantasy creations.

 

As a hobby turned into a career, Amanda attended the Makeup Designory (MUD) in New York City, completing the master’s program. It was during this intensive training that they designed makeup for a series of beauty and fashion photoshoots as well as a range of characters.

 

In the future, Amanda looks forward to refining their artistic skills as well as expanding their imagination. They will continue to learn and hope to be able to inspire and transport their clients with makeup, just as they had growing up.
